Mosle Field Update Meeting

Over the past couple of years, Mendham Township’s Recreation Committee has been working with engineers to develop plans for improving the safety of Mosle Field. In January, the Recreation Committee presented a set of recommendations, which includes working with the sports leagues to replace their portable diesel fueled lights with 90-degree downstream lights in the parking lot and field.

Following the feedback from the February 9, 2023 and February 20, 2023 community listening session meetings, the Mendham Township Recreation Committee has scheduled another community meeting.

On Tuesday, March 7 at 6:30 PM at the Brookside Engine Company (1 Cherry Lane, Brookside) Mendham Township Recreation Committee will present revised site plans including light location/height and draft agreements outlining permissible use and restrictions to future development. This meeting will update the community on the status of the project and will continue to solicit feedback from residents.

The Mendham Township Recreation Committee plans to present their budget at the Monday, March 13 Township Committee Meeting at 6:30 PM in the Mendham Township Middle School Multi Purpose Room.

The Recreation Committee includes two liaisons from the Township Committee - Deputy Mayor Sarah Neibart and Township Committeewoman Lauren Spirig - who both plan to attend this meeting.
