Mosle Field Lighting Improvement Project Meeting on February 20, 3:00 pm

Dear Mendham Township Neighbors,

Over the past couple of years, Mendham Township’s Recreation Committee has been working with engineers to develop plans for improving the safety of Mosle Field. At our January Meeting, the Recreation Committee presented a set of recommendations, which includes working with the sports leagues to replace their portable diesel fueled lights with 90-degree downstream lights in the parking lot and field. We are also working with our engineer to see if we could utilize green energy sources.

For some background - on Thursday, February 9, 2023 the Recreation Committee invited neighbors to hear concerns surrounding the improvement project. This has helped guide the Recreation Committee to develop additional recommendations to alleviate community concerns of the proposed lighting improvement project.

On Monday, February 20 at 3:00PM at the Brookside Community Club (1 East Main Street, Brookside) Mendham Township Recreation Committee is hosting another listening session regarding this project. This meeting will update the community on the status of the project and will continue to solicit feedback from residents.

The Recreation Committee includes two liaisons from the Township Committee - Deputy Mayor Sarah Neibart and Township Committeewoman Lauren Spirig - who both plan to attend this meeting.
