DPW DRIVER/SKILLED LABORER - TOWNSHIP OF MENDHAM
The Township of Mendham is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time public works position. Working under the direction of management, candidates should be able to perform skilled work including maintenance, construction, roadwork, and be proficient in the use of tools and equipment. Duties require physical exertion, manual dexterity, routine use of complex power equipment and trucks on a daily basis. Experience with heavy trucks and snow removal experience on municipal roadways a plus. Must possess a valid NJ Driver’s License with a Class B, CDL or the ability to obtain within one year. Candidates must be able to perform manual labor for prolonged periods of time under varying temperatures and conditions. Salary is DOQ. Any additional licenses such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, sewer, mechanical vehicle maintenance, or pesticide is a plus and will be considered. Background checks including criminal history, physical exam, drug screening, driving and employment history may be conducted. Mendham Township is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
