Mendham Township Updated Paving Schedule for May 6

Monday, May 6:

• Paving of West Main Street will be begin at 5:30 a.m. - paving the section between the Mendham Township Elementary School Entrance and Cherry Lane. It is anticipated this section will be done by 8:00 a.m.   WEST MAIN STREET WILL BE CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC INCLUDING BUSES FROM 5:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m., BETWEEN CARROLL DRIVE AND CHERRY LANE   
• MENDHAM TOWNSHIP ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DROP OFF: All traffic will access the Elementary School from the Summit Road and Cold Hill Road side of West Main Street.  Cherry Lane access will most likely be closed for morning drop off.    
• MENDHAM TOWNSHIP ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PICKUP: West Main Street will be open from both ends.    
• Paving of East Main Street will begin at the Post Office at approximately 7:30 a.m. and work its way east to Tingley Road. OTHER THAN RESIDENTS, EAST MAIN STREET WILL BE CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC FROM 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; NO BUSES WILL BE PERMITTED.  Library and Church patrons will NOT be permitted to park on the roadway so utilize the church lot or the Brookside Community Club parking lot.
