SEVERE WEATHER UPDATE-ROAD CLOSURE:  Mountainside Road is currently closed between Ironia and Calais w/wires-tree down

SEVERE WEATHER UPDATE-ROAD CLOSURE:  Mountainside Road is currently closed between Ironia and Calais w/wires-tree down.   

We are expecting another round of severe weather coming through this afternoon into this evening.     Please be prepared for more possible flooding and power outages.     As always never drive around barricades or on a closed road.    

If you lose power, please report your outage to JCP&L directly by calling 1-888-LIGHTSS (1-888-544-4877), or by visiting www.firstenergycorp.com and clicking the “Report Outage” link on firstenergycorp.com, or by texting 544487.

If you notice a downed power line or a tree blocking the road, do not go near it, and report it immediately by calling the non-emergency police number at: (973) 543-2581 and pressing 0 to speak to an operator.

Please reserve calling 911 for emergency situations.

We will be monitoring the situation along with Mendham Twp OEM and will post any updates as needed.
