New Jersey Remains in a Drought Watch: Voluntary Water Conservation

Due to drier than usual weather, New Jersey remains in a drought watch. Residents are encouraged to voluntarily conserve water to lessen the stress on our water systems.

Help make a difference by reducing the watering of lawns and washing of cars, as well as cutting back on nonessential water uses such as hosing off driveways and sidewalks. Cover your pool when not in use to reduce evaporation rates, use native plants that require less water and always ensure that hoses are turned off when not being used.
