Mosle Project Updates & Future Meeting Dates

The Township Committee/Budget Meeting is still on for Monday, February 27, 2023, however, the Recreation Budget Presentation has been postponed. There will be no scheduled formal discussion on the Mosle Project proposal at this meeting.

We will have another Community Meeting on Tuesday, March 7 at the Brookside Engine Company at 6:30PM. 

We will present our budget to the Finance Committee on Monday, March 13. 

The Mosle Athletic Fields have hosted our local sports teams since the Township's acquisition of the property and even before. The Recreation Committee has been approached with a request for permanent lights as Mosle Fields to replace the existing portable, diesel-powered lights currently in use. This improvement would most immediately benefit the Twin Boro Bears football/cheer program and the Mendham Chester Patriots baseball/softball program, which together serve over 500 Mendham youth athletes. These leagues have agreed to share the cost of their field's lights with the Township in a 50/50 split.
