A Letter from Mendham Township Recreation

Dear Mendham Township Community,

The Mendham Township Recreation Department needs your help.  While we would love to formally announce our 5th Annual 4th of July Fireworks celebration, at this point, we are unable to commit without community-wide support and fundraising.

The Township's draft municipal budget covers most recreation events, however, it does not include the 4th of July Fireworks celebration.  Since 2020, we have been able to fund our fireworks celebration with resident donations and small allocations from the Recreation Trust Fund.

Our goal and hope is to raise $10,000 by May 1, 2024 so that we're able to place deposits and secure the necessary contractors for the big event.  Should funding be secured, our tentative 4th of July celebration date is Friday, June 28.

We are always so grateful for your generosity and we hope that you will consider making a family donation to this spectacular evening. Donations can be made through the Community Pass Portal.
