JCP&L Outage Update -  04/04/24, 1:00pm

JCP&L just reported that there are approximately 13,000 customers in Morris County still without power. Currently in Mendham Township, there are 166 outages.

Since last night, JCP&L line workers, contractors, and forestry crews have been assisting in restoration efforts.

As the day goes on, restoration times will be updated on JCP&L’s outage map: FirstEnergy Storm Center NJ. Customers can also text STAT to 544487 for an update on their reported outage.

Reminder: Generators can be a lifesaver during power outages, but can also be dangerous if used or installed improperly. Never use a portable generator inside the house or a closed garage. Additionally, do not use gas stoves, kerosene heaters or other open flame heat sources to keep warm. These sources of heat can cause deadly carbon monoxide gas to build up in your home.
