Mendham Township Fireworks Update

FIREWORKS UPDATE - ALMOST HALFWAY THERE!
Dear Mendham Township Community,
The Mendham Township Recreation Department needs your help. While we would love to be able to formally announce our 5th Annual Fourth of July Fireworks celebration, at this point we are unable to commit without community-wide support in fundraising for the event.
The event is projected to take place on MONDAY, JULY 1.
The Township's draft municipal budget covers most events and doesn’t include the Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration. Since 2020, we have been able to fund this fireworks event with resident donations and small allocations from the Recreation Trust Fund. We hope to raise $10,000 by May 1, 2024 in order to be able to place deposits to secure the necessary contractors for the event.
Right now we have secured $4,1500 thanks to the following:
The Shannon Family
The Johnson Family
The Ghel Family
And numerous family donations!
