Mendham Area Senior Housing

  • Mendham Area Senior Housing Corporation (MASH) is a 40-unit, smoke free apartment community providing subsidized rents for 35 of those units. MASH is funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development affordable housing program for seniors and disabled citizens. MASH provides weekly exercise and yoga classes, monthly blood pressure clinics, an annual flu shot clinic and quarterly health and wellness presentations for its residents. Mendham and Morris Area Transportation Resources

  • Mendham Area Senior Transportation efficiently transports senior and disabled adult residents of Mendham Borough and Mendham Township and is available through MASH.  For more information and weekly driving schedules, please call 973-543-2666.
  • Morris Area Paratransit System (MAPS) is a curb-to-curb shared ride transportation service available to Morris County residents.  The MAPS curb-to-curb shared ride service is limited to senior citizens (60 years of age or older), people with disabilities, veterans and the general public who reside in rural areas of the county.

Mendham Area Senior Citizens Group

  • The Mendham Senior Citizens Group meets at 11:00 am on the second and fourth Monday's of each month at the Garabrant Center in Mendham Borough.  Participants bring their own lunch; desserts are provided by the the club.  The group offers day trips and two extended multi-day trips each year.  Gatherings provide fun and social talk as well as information and entertainment pertinent to seniors.
