2024 Beach Information
Memberships:
Family Membership: $180/$220(Resident/Non-Resident) — The Family Membership entitles the member to free access of the beach for all hours of open swim for the general public, including float night and early morning swim. A family is defined as two adults and their unmarried children residing in the same household. Additionally, it allows for free access to all of the special events at the beach. Grandparents must have separate memberships.
Individual Membership: $80/$100(Resident/Non-Resident) — The Individual Membership entitles the member to free access of the beach for all hours of open swim for the general public, including float night and early morning lap swim. An individual membership is for one person and may not be transferred. Additionally, it allows for free access to all of the special events at the beach.
Senior Membership: $60/85 (Resident/Non-Resident) - For Adults older than 61

2023 Daily Admission Rates (Monday through Friday):
- $10 Admission for Mendham Township Residents
- $12 Admission for Non-Mendham Township Residents
Hours of Operation:
- Open weekends only beginning Saturday, May 25, 2024
- Also open Memorial Day, May 27, 2024
- Open daily beginning Saturday, June 8, 2024 through Sunday, August 18
- We will open August 24, 25, 31; September 1, 2 based on staff availability
- Daily Hours: 10 AM until 6 PM
- Open until 7:30 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays

Be sure to select in town or out of town properly. We will be auditing all in town registrants for proof of residency.
Register before April 1, 2024 for $20 off family and $10 off individual memberships.
Please note grandparents and babysitters are NOT part of a family membership Family memberships are parents and their children. Babysitters and grandparents can be added to family membership for $50 per person.
NEW for 2024, Picture ID cards will be created for all members. ID cards must be brought to the beach each visit. After registration, the Recreation Department will contact you for photos.
Continuing for 2024:
- Snacks, Drinks and Ice Cream to be sold on site
- New water circulators installed for increased water flow
- Weekly visits by our geese chasers to continue
- Working Bathrooms!
Swim Lessons
Swim Lessons to be offered for Members ONLY: This year, Brookside Beach will be offering Group Lessons to all children who are interested. We will have group lessons each pre-season weekend and then through mid July. Pre-season lessons are Saturday/Sunday for half an hour, you sign up by the weekend. Once we open daily, lessons are Monday through Thursday with a Friday rain make up. Limited to eight kids per group (with two instructors who will split kids based on ability)

Party Rentals
Looking for the perfect outdoor venue to hold a end of the year school party, end of season sports team party, or simply a birthday party? Look no further! Brookside Beach has a very affordable rental policy in place. Dates book up quickly. Contact David Guida at dguida@mendhamtownship.org if you are interested.
Private Rentals, where the beach is closed but a party occurs are $400.
To reserve the tables during normal opening hours - cost is $50 plus the daily cost per guest.
