Biography

In March 2018, Sarah Neibart entered public service when she was appointed to the Township Committee. In November 2018, she won election and was voted Deputy Mayor in January 2019 by a majority of the Township Committee. She served as Mayor in 2020 and 2021. Sarah has worked on many local, statewide, and national political campaigns and currently consults for political candidates. In addition, Sarah is a contractor and assists public and private entities on assessing and evaluating technology and security programs. In 2017, Sarah founded an organization focused on educating residents on New Jersey's highest-in-the-nation property taxes and the negative impact that these taxes have on residents and businesses. Sarah is a volunteer firefighter; the Deputy Coordinator of the town’s Office of Emergency Management, and a Board Member of the Spring Street Community Development Corporation in Morristown. She is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Taxation Policy at Georgetown. Sarah and her husband have created an animal sanctuary for rescued pigs and other pets at their home.
