UPDATE: Mendham Township Fall Brush Pick-Up Will Begin on Monday, October 17, 2022, 7:00 am

Due to the road paving and milling, Mendham Township Fall Brush Pick-up will now begin on Monday, October 17, 2022

Fall brush pick-up is provided to help residents remove from their property the sticks, branches, and brush that nature has caused to fall during the year.  The program is designed primarily for homeowners who have little to no acreage on which to discard the materials, but is open to all Township residents.  If you have brush to be collected by the public works department, please utilize the following guidelines to make brush pick-up more efficient:

  1. Place material at the side of the road by 7:00 a.m. on Monday, October 17, 2022 with ends facing the roadway.  The brush pick-up service takes a couple of weeks to perform, so please be patient during this time period while the Township performs this service.
  2. DO NOT TIE BUNDLES
    1. If you want to tie the bundles, use string only, NO wire
    2. Bundles must be less than twelve inches in diameter and six feet in length
  3. DO NOT PUT STEEL RODS OR ANY METAL OBJECTS IN WITH THE WOOD
  4. INDIVIDUAL BRANCHES/LOGS CANNOT BE MORE THAN 6" IN DIAMETER AND BETWEEN 18" AND 6' IN LENGTH.
  5. Please:
    1. No tree stumps
    2. No firewood
    3. No logs over six feet long

REMINDER: If you hire an OUTSIDE CONTRACTOR to cut down a tree, trim trees, bushes and/or provide landscaping, the Contractor is responsible for hauling it away, not the Township.
