ORDINANCE 6-2007

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MENDHAM PROVIDING FOR COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROPOSED SPENDING OF OPEN SPACE TRUST FUNDS BY THE TOWNSHIP AND APPROPRIATING $22,000 FROM THE RESERVE FOR NATURAL AREA MAINTENANCE FUND

            BE IT ORDAINED by the Township Committee of the Township of Mendham , in the County of Morris , New Jersey , as follows:

            Section 1.  The funding for Township park costs associated with general trail maintenance on an as needed basis by seasonal workers is hereby authorized and such cost is not to exceed $3,000 which sum is hereby appropriated for this purpose.

            Section 2.  The total amount of $19,000 is hereby appropriated and awarded to the Environmental Commission for vegetation removal and new grass and wildflower plantings.

            Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect following passage and publication as provided by law.
