Fall Brush Pick-Up/Free Wood Chips

The Fall Brush Collection Is Scheduled To Begin On Monday, October 15th. Free Wood Chips Also Available Through The DPW.
Brush should be placed at the side of the road with the ends facing the roadway. Please tie the brush with string or twine only. Do not use wire as it can cause injury to workers and/or damage the chipper.
Brush bundles should be less than 12 inches in diameter and less than 6 feet in length. No stumps or logs greater than 6 feet in length or over 6 inches in diameter will be accepted for collection.
Brush will not be collected if lot or wooded areas are cleared by either the homeowner and/or a contractor. Homeowners and contractors should make private arrangements for the disposal of cleared materials. The Township brush collection program is designed to help resident’s clear brush that has fallen during the course of the year.
Please do not place leaves at curbside, as the Township does not have a leaf collection program.
Wood chips are available year round to residents at no charge
To request a delivery of wood chips, call the DPW at (973) 543-4509 to have your name put on the list for delivery.
Delivery by truck size:
Mason Dump= 4 Yards
Single Axel= 8 Yards
Tandem= 16 Yards
Dump trailer= 34 Yards (must have large area to dump chips)
