Brookside Beach Bash Set For April 9th
Release Date: March 12, 2010
A taste of the tropics is coming to Mendham next month when the "Friends of Brookside Beach" host a luau-themed, fund-raising party at the Community Club. A pig roast and tropical drinks are on the menu for this festive night of fun to support the continuing operation of Brookside Beach.
The entire local community is invited to meet new friends and dance the night away to DJ music. A family membership to Brookside Beach will be “raffled” off, and partygoers can take advantage of joining the Beach at discounted family rates.
Tickets are $40 per person, including an open bar and dinner. The party starts at 7:00 p.m. Dress is casual, or wear your best tropical attire! For more details and to reserve a spot, contact Committee Chair, Renee Arezzi, firstname.lastname@example.org or (973-543-7735), or Township Recreation Director, Jeanne Montemarano, email@example.com or (973-543-4555).
Brookside Beach remains among the best recreation bargains for your family’s summer entertainment. Where else in the Mendhams can your child build sandcastles, compete in a cardboard boat race and splash down a water slide? With enhancements including a shade canopy and new paddleboat, Brookside Beach is a wonderful, casual place to find respite from the summer heat. Join the Beach, and enjoy outdoor Movie Night, a competitive swim team, the cardboard boat race and much more.
