ORDINANCE 13-2003

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE 8-2003 “AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARIES OF CERTAIN OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MENDHAM, IN THE COUNTY OF MORRIS, NEW JERSEY

            BE IT ORDAINED by the Township Committee of the Township of Mendham , in the County of Morris , New Jersey , as follows:

            Section 1. Paragraph14 of Ordinance 8-2003, An Ordinance Fixing the Salaries of Certain Officers and Employees of the Township of Mendham, in the County of Morris, adopted May 12, 2003, shall be amended to read in its entirely as follows:

14.    The Township Fire Official shall be entitled to receive, in addition to the salary provide in Section 1, the sum of $35.00 for each certificate issued during 2003 in compliance with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 52:27D-198.1 respecting smoke-sensitive alarm devices in structures to be sold or leased. For each reinspection the sum of $20.00 shall be paid to the Township Fire Official.

Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon publication of notice of final

adoption as provided by law.
