The Construction Department administers and enforces the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code. The Construction Department consists of a part-time licensed Construction Sub-Code Official and part time licensed Plumbing, Electrical, and Fire Sub-Code Officials.
Before You Start A Project
Obtain a Construction Permit Application Package from the Building/Construction office in Town Hall.
Submit your completed subcode application(s), jacket and 3 sets of plans and any zoning info if needed to the Building/Construction Department for review.
When the plan review process is complete, the applicant will be notified of the permit fee. If the application is incomplete, the applicant will be notified of the missing information.

You will need your Pemit number, block and lot, phone number and inspection needed. A MINIMUM of 24hrs is required.
