The Mendham Township Police was founded in 1956 and has continued to serve this community with pride and dedication.

The Mendham Township Police Department consists of 15 police officers with two full time secretaries. The department consists of a Patrol Division and a Detective Bureau. The police department is dispatched 24 hours a day by the Morris County Communications Center. 

The police department provides police coverage 24 hours a day 7 days a week.  The administrative staff is present from 8am to 4pm on weekdays, except for holidays.
