Hope's Promise Farm is set on 6 acres in Chester, New Jersey. Maureen Coultas, the Executive Director and P.A.T.H. (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) has been teaching both individuals with special needs and those who are able-bodied since 2010. She opened Hope's Promise, a PATH International Center, in Chester, New Jersey in 2012. Since then, both individuals and groups have been experiencing the healing of horses through Therapeutic Riding and Equine Assisted Activities. They are looking for someone to do several projects at the horse farm in Chester.
Specifically the items needed are:
A lean-to to shelter the horses in inclement weather.
Picnic benches and tables for the groups of disabled children that come to the farm on school trips - where they learn to groom and ride the larger horses.
A set of bleachers so that the students that are not riding have a safe place to observe the other riding students.
In addition we would love a group of volunteers to come up for a day to do a general cleanup for Earth Day!
